In 2016, the airport saw nearly seven million passengers, almost double what it saw in 2014. As a result, a new 4,700-square-meter terminal was built to service additional passengers to and from aircraft.

Architect Toshiko Mori and her team specified a custom Copper color version of Pulp Studio’s Chromavision™, which uses SEFAR VISION fabric as its substrate. Pulp Studio was the glass laminator, using SentryGlas® from Kuraray America Inc. – amounting to more than 19,000 total square feet of glass.

Five different variations of the VISION fabric interlayer absorb and disperse sunlight. The 6,258 individually moveable slats, which cover the 98,318 square-foot façade, allow occupants to open and angle the panels for fresh air and lighting control.
