OWATONNA, MN – Viracon, the nation’s leading single-source architectural glass fabricator, is pleased to announce that Garret Henson has been promoted to Vice President of Sales. Henson served as the Director of Sales for the past 5 years and will continue to report to Kelly Schuller, president of Viracon.

“I’m humbly accepting this position, and the continued opportunity to work with some of the greatest sales talent and character in the industry,” says Henson. “I’m grateful to have been taught this business from my colleagues at Viracon, and there is still much to learn.”

Garret has built his entire professional career with Viracon. He joined in 1993 as a field sales trainee, and then became a field sales representative based in Colorado. He regularly advanced through increasing levels of field sales management responsibility - both domestically and internationally.

“Garret has built great relationships with most of our customers and many others in our industry, as well as building bridges within Viracon,” says Kelly Schuller. “He understands Viracon very well and has helped build the best sales and service team in the business. He will bring a valuable perspective to Viracon's Senior Leadership Team, as he is now part of the team setting overall company direction.”

“Our customer-centric culture, in combination with our investment in people, products and services, make Viracon a true leader in the industry – and have poised us to emerge from the current recession even stronger,” says Henson. “We thank those customers who continue to trust Viracon and choose us as their preferred high-performance glass supplier, and ask that they continue to be candid on how we can continue to help them succeed.”
