New SEFAR LightFrame® Brochure Spotlights Light Diffusion and Acoustic Performance for Ceiling and Wall Applications
Includes Comprehensive Technical and Aesthetic Information
DEPEW, NY… SEFAR LightFrame® from SEFAR® Architecture is a unique fabric ceiling system, and the only one available that can provide both light diffusion and acoustic improvements for a multitude of interior or exterior ceiling and canopy soffit applications.
To highlight the wide range of LightFrame benefits and applications, SEFAR Architecture has produced a new 24-page brochure. The brochure provides product specifications, design details and striking photography to capture the essence of LightFrame.
The LightFrame ceiling system features dual wrinkle-free, high light-diffusing architectural fabrics biaxially stretched over a light, modular frame. LightFrame’s unique secondary skin allows it to efficiently transmit and diffuse light, improve acoustics and eliminate penetration of debris more effectively than other ceiling products.
In fact, the available architectural fabrics for the LightFrame system achieve light transmission rates up to 90%. In addition, the transmitted light contains a high proportion of diffused light to provide balanced illumination and reduce contrast.
“There is no limit to the design possibilities of LightFrame and the elements can be manufactured to meet project specifications,” says Peter Katcha, Director of North American Sales for SEFAR Architecture. “We offer LightFrame modules in varying shapes and sizes in conjunction with a variety of SEFAR Architecture fabrics.”
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, LightFrame is an attractive way to create natural or artificial lighting effects. The product minimizes shadows even with background lighting, due to its half-elliptical profile. The adaptable LightFrame system is made up of custom modules that are hinged to allow direct access for light source maintenance without disassembling the entire ceiling system. LightFrame’s seamless modules use locking screws to bring the edges of adjacent frames less than a half-inch apart, providing impressive uniformity of light distribution and appearance.
LightFrame features the highest-performing duel skin ceiling system available, far surpassing ceilings that are single skin. The double layer covering offers acoustic improvements and eliminates penetration of dust and insects on the fabric membrane, which can inhibit the transference of light over time.
The innovative LightFrame system also provides several other benefits, including improved security near building entrances and long-lasting resistance to UV light. The low-maintenance material resists UV rays, moisture and dirt, meets most interior fire code requirements, and is VOC free.
