ERIE, PA – Employees of Zurn Industries, LLC more than doubled the amount collected for a food drive compared to 2013’s total, benefiting the people served by local food banks across the country.
As a whole, Zurn raised a total of 17,980.3 pounds of food or 23.66 pounds per associate across the US, and in Canada. This is the fourth consecutive year that Zurn conducted the pre-Thanksgiving Holiday food drive.

ERIE, PA – Zurn Industries, LLC announces the completion of its Zurn Wilkins Stainless Steel Backflow Preventer Series with the addition of two new products: the 375ASTDAR Stainless Steel Replacement Reduced Pressure Detector Assembly, and the 350ASTDAR Stainless Steel Replacement Double Check Valve Assembly, both available in sizes from 2½-10”.
The Zurn Wilkins Stainless Steel backflow preventers are lightweight, corrosion-resistant, easier to install in small spaces, and can be used in most existing low-pressure systems.

ERIE, PA – Zurn Industries, LLC introduces its new low-flow EcoVantage® 1.1 gpf ZTR Sensor Wall Bowl System (Z5615.395 and Z5615.396), so named because it uses only 1.1 gallons per flush (gpf).
The Zurn EcoVantage® 1.1 gpf ZTR Sensor Wall Bowl System requires 31 percent less water per flush than the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) current maximum standard of 1.6 gpf. The Zurn 1.1 gpf low-flow performance is also considerably better than the LEED baseline water savings for commercial buildings: 20 percent.

ERIE, PA – The Backflow Prevention Association of Australia (BPAA) recently heard about the state of the industry in the United States from Rick Fields, Director of Channel Management – Waterworks for Zurn Wilkins, a brand of Zurn Industries, LLC.
Fields updated the group on product innovations, trends in national and state-level rules and regulations, and inconsistencies in enforcement and maintenance. The Zurn director also called for improved industry education and training so that workforce capabilities can meet more complex technologies.
