Zurn to Showcase Restroom Innovations at ASPE Convention/Expo 2014

Three Products, One Scheduled to Launch in October, Define the Future for Restroom Design, Water Efficiency and Ease of Installation

ERIE, PA – Zurn Industries, LLC will offer visitors to the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) Convention & Exposition in Chicago next week a first glimpse of three game-changing restroom solutions set to launch over the next few months.

The first “at bat” belongs to Zurn’s new 1.1 gpf Ultra Low Flow wall bowl sensor flush valve system (Z5615.395 and Z5615.396), scheduled to launch in October.

The Zurn Ultra Low Flow system uses as little as 1.1 gallons per flush – a savings of 31 percent less than the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) current maximum standard of 1.6 gpf. The Ultra Low Flow performance is also considerably better than the LEED baseline water savings for commercial buildings: 20 percent.

Zurn will also provide a sneak peak of two other restroom innovations: a faucet that takes design, performance and lifecycle cost to a new level, and a carrier that redefines plumbing ease of installation.

LEED is the acronym for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, a rating system devised by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
