Viracon Introduces DigitalDistinctions™ Dual Image Digital Printing
New Technique Prints Different Colors, Images or Patterns on Each Side of the Same Piece of Glass
OWATONNA, MN – Viracon introduces DigitalDistinctions™ Dual Image printing, which consists of a printed image or pattern on one side and a different color, image, or pattern on the opposite side of the same glass lite; for example, a black dot facing interior and white dot facing exterior.
DigitalDistinctions™ can produce images to reflect a variety of complex designs in addition to standard and simple designs. For example, it can create a colorful image on one side of glass and a solid color on the other side with holes or dots punched throughout the image.
“We’re excited to offer even more options with DigitalDistinctions™,” says Kevin Anez, Director of Marketing and Product Management for Viracon. “Many architects and designers are already using it for custom facades, but now both the view from the outside and the inside of the building can be customized.”
A Viracon high-performance coating can be applied directly over the digital print on the same surface to further enhance solar performance.
