KENNETT SQUARE, PA…Metalwërks® products are prominently featured at the new Marriott EDITION hotel located at 701 Seventh Avenue in Times Square, New York City.
Metalwërks created a custom engineered and vertically-oriented screenwall assembly designed to span floor to floor and to minimize structural attachment points, while resisting up to 45 pounds of pressure per square foot of positive and negative wind loads. The assembly was also crafted to make spans of up to 12’ between the horizontal support steel members at the penthouse screen wall applications.

Located in the dynamic Seaport District of Boston, MA, and partially spanning the existing I-90 tunnel structure, the new facility covers 650,000 square feet and contains around 1,500 parking spaces across nine levels.

KENNETT SQUARE, PA… Metalwërks® Ameriplate™ served as the basis of design for the new Hartford Hospital Bone & Joint Institute — a landmark facility in Hartford, CT.
The Bone & Joint Institute is the centerpiece of a campus expansion at Hartford Hospital, including two new buildings connected by a curving bridge. Metalwërks’ Ameriplate wall system clads both buildings and the bridge, creating graceful flowing lines and allowing for design consistency — despite the fact that the two buildings have different styles of rain screen wall construction.

The company aims to increase the reach of the Metalwërks brand and better complement its capabilities in the design and manufacture of architectural products. There will also be a focus on improving and innovating the Metalwërks product lines and increasing the company’s production resources.
