Metal Sales™ Announces New Coatings at the Living Future unConference, May 11-13, 2016

LOUISVILLE, KY … Designing for the future demands that environmental considerations take a leading role for 21^st Century building product manufacturers. In order to meet emerging needs that include specifying to the highest environmental standards like the Living Building Challenge and LEED Version 4, Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation announces that it is partnering with Valspar to offer the company’s Fluropon® Pure coatings on its metal panels. Metal Sales™ is the first metal panel manufacturer to offer Fluropon Pure.

Fluropon Pure is a PVDF paint system formulated for compliance to the Living Building Challenge’s stringent requirements for hazardous material reduction. Fluropon Pure answers that call, while providing all of the high-performance properties of the original PVDF paint system that has performed so well for decades. The coating is ideal for buildings with extreme environmental requirements, or anywhere a greener product is needed.

Architects will now be able to specify Metal Sales wall and roof systems with the Fluropon Pure paint system for any project that demands hazardous material reduction (e.g. Living Building Challenge, LEED v4).
